Packages

Nagast consists of three packages:

• nagast-client

Really just consists of nagastc, which makes it easy to create calls from Nagios.

• nagast-server

Handles calling and creation of the samples. Multiple nodes can communicate with a single server. nagast-server will keep track of multiple nodes and even call you if one of the nodes seems lost.

• nagast-node

Takes commands from nagastc and connects to the configured nagast-server. Also remembers which issues have been reported and let's Nagios know when an issue has been acked.
