Use the data types lesson to create a ~45 minute lesson that is focused on Note Taking skills
The lesson itself should be appropriate for FE and BE students. Breakout rooms can be specific to program, but lecture should be agnostic enough for all students to follow.
The learning goals of the lesson are the note taking skills, not the technical concepts:
“okay we just talked through X, Y, Z. What did you write down in your notes? What was the key point from that exercise?” And several minutes later “refer back to your notes and tell me X” - BO rooms where students compare their notes
potentially make all students TRY computer notes and paper notes so they can see what they like better
