I had an interesting conversation with someone on the Apereo Open Dashboard team today. AOD is basically "an app store for analytics tools", which didn't sound very compelling to me in terms of integration with Swag, until it was pointed out that AOD widgets have built-in LTI compliance, which means they can be easily embedded inside just about any LMS. While I think Swag could serve as a lightweight replacement for the traditional LMS, the fact is that lots of organizations will be unwilling or unable to just switch from one to the other, so if writing an AOD widget that implements a swagmap viewer could make it easier to drive adoption (and thus participation in the project), it might be worthwhile. This issue is just a reminder for someone to research this further, and a place to keep notes.
