Hey there

Any chance this is achievable at all?

It would be very great to have a new usage for the old iPhone. I'll be gladly helping in testing and development (if I can)

Thank you very much!

I would be interested in this too. I tried setting the build target to 3.1.3. I managed to install the .ipa on the phone but after launching I got the following error in the console...

Sun Aug 18 22:29:07 unknown com.apple.launchd[1] <Error>: (UIKitApplication:AirFloat[0xb954]) posix_spawn("/var/mobile/Applications/.../AirFloat.app/AirFloat", ...): Bad CPU type in executable

If I get a chance I will try compiling with an older version of xcode that supports the first generation iphone.

Hey Onato,

If I can help you with anything, just tell me!

Thanks,

Any chance this can still happen? I just thought about hooking up my iPod Touch 1g to my speaker system as a dedicated AirPlay device.

This may be possible if you get a build of Xcode 4, which supports the needed architecture.
