Here we will demonstrate the step-by-step analysis using a subset of the hen egg white lysozyme crystal diffraction patterns collected at the Advanced Photon Source by Martin-Garcia et al. (2017).

The analysis consists of four main steps:

1. Initialization
2. Data reduction
3. EMC reconstruction
4. Resolution estimation

The data reduction step can be skipped for those who would like to try an EMC reconstruction immediately. This can be done by downloading the metadata provided by us, which is described in the end of Data reduction.
