Checklist

  • I have used the search function to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report.
  • I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible.

App

Thunderbird for Android

App version

8.1

Where did you get the app from?

Other

Android version

14

Device model

Pixel 8

Steps to reproduce

It used to take 2 taps to switch accounts, now it takes 3. The default account selection behavior was likely misrouted to folders.

  • Tap the menu
  • Tap another account

Expected behavior

After tapping the account, the menu should go away allowing you to view the default folder's mail.

Actual behavior

The menu stays up, forcing another tap to get rid of it. Users do not often swap to the non-defaupt folder, which is why K9 always his the menu.
