I have looked for any mention of threaded messages but I can't find anything. Is there a way to export - in any format - messages in a threaded format? I display all messages in threaded view so it's easier to sort by relevancy. Does IET NG allow exporting threaded messages?

Threading is something Thunderbird detects and organizes within the ui.
ImportExportTools just exports the messages (all messages requested).
So the simple answer is yes.
If you were to export to either eml or mbox And then import those messages they would have the threading recognized by Thunderbird.
