strange problem

I downloaded this earlier today and was using the character swap in Sonic frontiers, when the game auto saved and then gave an unknown error. I then tried to manual save and it didn't save and just said unknown error again. Then finally I tried deleting the savefile and un-syncing the cloud save to start a new file and same thing with the unknown error and unable to save. Then I uninstalled and re installed the game, and then the saves were back somehow and still same error with no saving. Also when re installing the game I got an error from steam that I never seen before that being the download failed missing file privilege. I fixed that by restarting my computer but still issue with the game not saving. I re installed it twice and still cant fix it, is my game just wrecked now? Lastly I put a 100 percent save in the game and that loaded up but still won't let me save the game.
