Terraform v1 Syntax Support

When will Terrascan support version 1+ of HCL for Terraform? I have code that uses optional variables with defaults & lifecycles with precondition blocks and I cannot use the tool to scan my code.

I have been looking at the codebase to try and make sense of where the syntax validation happens for Terraform code. Is it your strategy to have scan flags supporting each major version of Terraform? For example if I want pre/post conditions I need to be Terraform v1.2+ if I want optionals with defaults I need to be on v1.3+.
