User keeps on seeing notification error when notifications are enabled

Description:
When a user allow the notification on the notification pop up on onboard they receive the below error to say they need to enable notifications but the user did enable notifications.

Steps to reproduce:

1. User should do a fresh install
2. User should go through the onboarding process
3. User should see a notifications pop up
4. User should click on Allow
5. User receives an error informing them to enable their notifications but the notification are enabled

Expected behaviour:
User shouldn't receive an error to enable notifications when it is enabled
