Instructions to reproduce the "Coherent Data Set"?

I read with great interest the Coherent Data Set paper. Awesome work! I'm trying to establish if an equivalent dataset can be independently created by following some instructions. The paper mentioned simulators which were used to generate the imagery artifacts. Are those included in the Synthea code or outside? If it's external, any details on those extra steps would be very much appreciated.
