Revitalizing old issue welfare-state-analytics/riksdagen-corpus#265.

  • construct test file with party distribution in parliament over time
    • unikameral period (wikpedia/wikidata)
    • bicameral period (Stjernqvist Tvåkammartiden 1996:122-123
  • test that mp metadata reflects test file

Fredrik will ask Lotta to get a source about party distribution for the unicameral period

We should only do a party distribution test for the time when there were "real" parties in the parliament (ca 1900–)

For the unicameral period, Lotta suggested that we use election statistics from Statistics Sweden:

https://www.statistikdatabasen.scb.se/pxweb/en/ssd/START__ME__ME0104__ME0104C/Riksdagsmandat/

From the link above, we can get party distribution data from 1973 and onwards.

For the relevant bicameral period (1912–1969), we use Stjernquist 1996 (p. 123).
