Node-Red function use??

I am curious if svgdom will run within Node-Red functions to allow svgjs to manipulate my svg's in the background without being present in any browser. My intent is to do some svg generation and modification where getting info like bbox and rbox are needed.

If it will work in Node-Red, does anyone have any installation and use notes?

I dont use node-red. But doesnt that just run on node in the end? If so, this will totally work

Well, it does run on node, but there are a lot of layers.

I have it running, but the way the calls are made is not entirely clear. It seems to be a bit messier without a found explanation, just yet. Right now, I am trying to determine how much of the mess is my lack of knowledge vs. limitations of the combination.
