How to invalidate authorization token?

I have used simple:rest-accounts-password for authorization .I'M able to get the token and validate the token.But I am not understanding how to invalidate the token(when end-user calls the logout) .
Is there any way to invalidate the token or expire the token when end-user calls on logout .
