I propose to make the maximum charging voltage of one ni-cd cell more than 2 volts, because large cells (more than 20 a/h) when charging by delta v, can have a charging voltage of about 2.3-2.5 volts.In my case, when charging an 80 a/h cell with 7 amps, the voltage exceeds 2 volts and the charging stops. If I charge with 4 amps, the voltage stays around 1.8-1.85 volts and charging is normal
