gems without a version aren't added to the environment.rb

if no version is specified in the gemfile then no record is added to the environment.rb file.

The /lib/radiant-go/installers/radiant.rb file on line #103 has a regex which can be altered to have an optional check for the version (instead of the current mandatory), which would solve the problem.
