on the attempt to deploy this into aws elastic beanstalk
it seems the webapp does not get started

Not near enough information to diagnosis any problem.

I had to fiddle around a lot with the springapplication config to get it to work...
Extending the springApplication from SpringBootServletInitializer
seems to be required to start the configserver inside a webcontext.
I am investigating further to boil down the minimal code required....
