Hi! My name is Jesper, living in Stockholm, Sweden.
The past five years i have been working as a Developer and DevOps Engineer on IBM's z/OS mainframe platform, mainly coding COBOL.
I spend a lot of my spare time building Home Automation solutions for my home, both hardware and software.
This has sparked my interest in developing, specifically in Python.
To quench my thirst for coding, I started a project around a year ago where i wanted to make my IP cameras a little smarter.
This project is called Viseron, and is a self-hosted NVR. My main goal for this project is for it to be jam-packed with features and configuration options, while also being simple to use at the same time.
It features multiple different object detecting frameworks, motion detection, recording of videos, setup of zones to filter objects to name a few.
I recently released Viseron and while the userbase is still quite small, a number of feature requests are piling up. In order for me to spend as much time as possible on the project, and make Viseron the best it could possibly be, your sponsorship would be extremely helpful.
All funds will allow me to spend more time on Viseron, and also to get new hardware to implement and test Viseron on.
