I'm a corpus linguist with a technical background and a master's and advanced master's in linguistics with a focus on usage based, cognitive and functional linguistics.

My main output on GitHub is my corpus linguistics tool snelSLiM. This tools aids researchers in performing better keyword analysis. It's a convenient way to explore a new corpus, showing patterns based on keywords and collocates. It's very user-friendly but also offers great speed and support for many corpus formats, combined with as much features as I've been able to think of and code.

A pet project of mine is Tabby, an application aimed at making it more easy to manage debt of your friends without them needing account, having to use dodgy websites, or needing closed source software. It's fully open source and obviously free. It's very convenient in daily use, and I've used it since its initial development. It has saved me a lot of money by reminding me some of my forgetful friends still hadn't repaid that pizza or that time at the bar.

I'm trying out GitHub Sponsors to see if people are willing to give me a small kickback for the work I've done or for specific features or fixes they require. No obligations though, just giving this a shot. I hope no one feels any pressure to pay for my software. It's FOSS for a reason, I want it to be free (as in free beer as well as freedom) and open.
