I'm Andy, and I'm a software developer from the midwest!

Most of my inspiration comes from things I see that could be better. For example, my main project as of recently, BackDrop, was a tool I created because I wanted to back files up to storage where there might not be room, and it might need to be split across more than one destination. There's a lot of tools that do stuff like this, but none that work exactly how I need. It's constantly being improved for my personal needs, but I've also added a lot of options that might be useful to others so that as many people as possible can also use it for copying data.
