I'm a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Maine with a wide range of interests and ambitions. I am particularly fond of automation technologies and have several projects in that focus:
- PyXA, a wrapper around Apple's Scripting Bridge framework that enables AppleScript/JXA-esque control over macOS applications with Python
- Aria, a modular, context-aware virtual assistant with an extensive library of developer tools to support the creation of innovative command plugins
- macOS Automation Resources - A growing collection of archived webpages relevant to macOS Automation, organized by technology
Along with a few currently unreleased (but in progress) libraries that support my projects:
- TrackingUtils - A library that simplifies the creation, management, and use of CSV-based data tracking systems.
- ContextUtils - A library for creating contextually aware programs that respond to the status of users' macOS environments, e.g. making decisions based on which applications are currently open.
- ConfigUtils - A library for creating, updating, and interacting with configuration files in Python projects
Your support allows me to continue developing these projects, thereby allowing me to contribute these (what I believe to be) useful tools for use by everyone. Meanwhile, your support helps me continue designing these tools with the benefit of others in mind, such as spending time creating detailed documentation, and ensuring that these tools can be used by anyone.
