Since 6662ed0 my screen doesn't lock anymore upon lid close. I find this very unsafe as anyone is able to open up my laptop now and fiddle around. Please provide a solution for those like me who do want to lock their screen upon lid close for safety reasons.

That's not actually the case, it went in for a single update and was immediately removed again because it caused problems. The issue must be elsewhere.

I see. Could you assist me in finding out what's causing this? I haven't changed any of the default settings regarding screen lock/suspend/etc. and the screen lock used to work fine until a few days ago.
