"Given domain name does not redirect to host"

When submitting my domain name through "Add domain name for TLS" in the Control Plane, it returns "Given domain name does not redirect to host"

Same happens with

curl -XPOST -d "domain_name=$my_domain" localhost/control-plane/domain-name -u "USERNAME_PLACEHOLDER:PASSWORD_PLACEHOLDER"

The server is setup on GCP, spun with a snowplow-mini-0-6-1-large tarball, exactly like https://github.com/snowplow/snowplow-mini/wiki/Setup-guide-GCP

I double-checked and DNS indeed has an A record for my domain pointing to the External IP of my compute instance. HTTPS is allowed in the firewall.

Maybe something to do with the fact the collector is running in a docker container?

Thanks for sharing this issue @thsr , next release will be re-checking domain name usage, we're aware that it is broken right now

Thanks @oguzhanunlu any workaround to enable SSL on a snowplow instance? or when 0.8.1 would it be possible to update from 0.7?

Hi @alperakgun , no workaround I'm aware of. I think we'll include it in the next release, likely to be 0.9.0.
