I cannot find it in the specs, does this device support IPv6?

Does it function without IPv4?

If no, why not?

I can confirm it works with IPv6. Received my NanoKVM yesterday and it works straight out of the box in a dual-stack network on both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

I have received my device, and i can confirm this is partially false.

I only receive a link local address on an IPv6 network.

This is because forwarding is enabled. Why this is is a mystery to me.

In order to allow IPv6, I either had to set net.ipv6.conf.eth0.accept_ra = 2 in a file in /etc/sysctl.d or net.ipv6.conf.eth0.forwarding = 0.

This is because if net.ipv6.conf.eth0.forwarding is > 0 then router advertisements are ignored unless net.ipv6.conf.eth0.accept_ra is > 1.

Likewise I only see link-local IPv6 addresses

I noticed that the file /etc/sysctl.d/99-tailscale.conf contains the setting:
net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding = 1.

While this configuration is documented on Tailscale's How-to Guides as part of enabling subnet routing, I believe NanoKVM is not primarily intended to function as a subnet router.
