The
wa-callout
(as didsl-alert
) seems to be mapping thevariant
attribute straight to the corresponding semantic color.If the
brand
color is a bluish color (like the default one), it can be used for "info" callouts (as in the example). Now, if thebrand
color is changed to another color like red, the callout adopts that new color and suddenly changes its meaning (e.g., red usually means danger/error).Would it make sense to decouple the
callout
's variant from the semantic color so that the color can be overridden for callout variants? These callout colors can be set to the current semantic colors by default:(I'm aware that you can override the styling of the element directly)
