Working - Specsavers RIC LI 680 T - FW 5.12.0

Only issue is that volume control does not work, they are at maximum all the time.

I believe that these are a white label of Signia hearing aids remarketed
by Specsavers in the UK.

Hi thanks for the results.

I've had a similar report about max volume from a different device. I'm still not sure what's going on, because Oticon devices behave correctly.

What OS are you running on your computer?

If you have the serial terminal open and logging information, are there any volume entries in the logs when you change volume on the computer?

Volume changes should show something like:

[INFO : 295653] Right: Volume changed to -77
[INFO : 295655] Left: Volume changed to -77
[INFO : 307488] Left: Volume changed to -93
[INFO : 307492] Right: Volume changed to -93

This was MacOS Monterey. I was running a serial terminal. I'll do another test (once I get my wife to come back with her hearing aids), and see if I get any indication of volume changes.

(Great work by the way) As ASHA is only supported by flagship phone models, this would appear to be the basis of a valid product for using with phones that do not support ASHA.

I've had a report that the usable volume range on mac's might only be the lower third of the volume slider, please try the full range of the slider when you get a chance.

ASHA support should be fairly widespread by now. maybe it's a brand thing? My Samsung Galaxy A23 (a relatively low end model from 2 years ago) supports ASHA. Maybe some manufacturers aren't flipping the switch to enable it?

I see entries in the log such as
[INFO : 3909138] Left: Volume changed to 0
But none with numbers. I'll do a re-run. I did try the volume over the full range.
I just bought a Samsung A25 so I'll have a check with that. When I bought my wife a Pixel 5 a year ago, only the Pixels and flagship Samsungs supported ASHA. The Pixel 5 is quite buggy on ASHA, and needs coaxing to get sound on a phone call. That one is on Android 13.
