• 1. 提供多种数据生成方式，并不局限于 html 页面，还可以生成 json、yaml 等数据，供二开使用
• 2. 可以指定生成哪些数据，比如加上参数 --language 就是只统计仓库语言占比

By the way, gitstats already supports generating extension (Language) data under the File tab.

gitstats now supports generating JSON output starting from version 0.5.0. For detailed instructions on how to use this feature, please take a look at #60 (comment).
