The Listeners

John Cayley 2006, 2016, 2020-

The Listeners is version 3 of a ‘skill’ engineered and composed for Amazon’s Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) framework and Echo devices. Public-facing details are in the Skills Catalog.

Code for The Listeners is based on Amazon's ASK Java 8 SDK version 2.x. My coding itself is licensed with the same Apache Software License that was applied to the ASK SDK and a copy of this LICENSE is in the repo.

The original language composed for The Listeners is by John Cayley and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

The code also makes some use of Daniel C. Howe's NLP software, RiTa.
Howe, D. C. (2015). RiTa [Computer software]. Retrieved from https://rednoise.org/rita.

Further information about The Listeners, including more acknowledgements and credits can be found at Programmatology.

INSTRUCTIONS on how to run and test this skill will be added to the repo.
