Not sure if this means anything but something I noticed.
When using Ardour 8.6.0 and looking at the DSP % meter in main toolbar, I notice that when using the LV2 version of Sfizz certain little CPU spikes occur when....
-First inserting the plugin into Ardour MIDI track
-Loading up an instrument into Sfizz
-Open a project that contains MIDI track with Sfizz in it
-When you mute MIDI tracks that contain Sfizz in it (does not happen with unmute)
DSP will jump up about 5-9% when actions like these occur and then slowly drop back down.
I compared this to the VST3 version and the VST3 version does not do this at all.
Was just curious why this would be, just was not sure if it was just due to the formats being different or if the LV2 version maybe has some kind of issue?
Does anyone else notice anything like this?
Thank You
