Cassandra 5 introduced a new CQL type, "vector", described in https://cassandra.apache.org/doc/latest/cassandra/reference/vector-data-type.html and in the issue CASSANDRA-18504, with the goal of being usable for search (see CASSANDRA-18557 and CEP-30).

We should consider if this is a useful feature we should have too, or eventually if the new feature becomes popular with Cassandra users, we may need to implement it for Cassandra compatibility.
