Describe the Housekeeping
Undo #1612 - the functionality is not needed any more, so it is adding unnecessary complexity to the application.

Additional context
R&D decided this was no longer required when they finalised the pooling strategy for 007c.

Not needed for MVP but should be done to clean up something that could otherwise become technical debt.
