Falafals: Yarok; Dada falafa

Indian food: usually disappointing compared to the UK. I tried India 1 (Scharnweberstraße 59, 13405 Berlin) via delivery yesterday, and it was fairly good

Vietnamese: Fam Dang, Chay Viet (Brunnenstr. 164 - it's entirely vegetarian), Coco (Rosenthaler Str. 2 - Vietnamese subs)

Chén Chè (teahouse + desserts - get the "Reistafel", a daily changing menu that comes in multiple small bowls)

Ethiopian (non-mitte, a bit pricier): Blue Nile, Bejte

Mexican (non-mitte): Dolores (Californian-style burritos/etc), Maria Bonita (texmex)

Misc (been there a few times, tasty): Gobento (Japanese), Marral (Mesopotamian)

Junk vegan food (non-mitte; vegan burgers, etc): Yellow Sunshine, Vego foodworld

Cafe (non-mitte): Cafe Morgenrot

Vietnames soups: Chi Chu (great soups with plenty of vegetables and fresh herbs plate)

German grandmother's feel-good food: Tucholsky Restauration, Torstr. 189

Southern German food: Mittendrin, Sophienstr. 19

Indian: Seth Fathe Sher 4, Stargarder Str. 72

Singaporean / Asian Fusion: Mirchi, Oranienburger Str. 45 (for lunch 4,50 EUR or 5,50 EUR incl. everything, dinner or weekend you pay 3x as much)

Korean: YamYam

NEW! Japanese non-sushi: Gobento, Stubbenkammerstr. 5 (15 EUR flat fee for the food, free tea, have to buy drinks at the Späti)

American-style pie, including “Devil’s Food Cake” that’s the richest in chocolate you can find in Berlin: Barcomi's, Sophienstr. 21 in the yard

German cake, >25 to choose from at any hour: Opernpalais, Unter den Linden 5

Cupcakes: Cupcake Berlin, Krossener Straße 12 (in Friedrichshain)

Fries (just a stand, but voted best fries in Berlin): Tom’s Fritten, corner of Oranienburger Straße & Auguststr.
