bug in the setup of 8.8 beta

Issue

I shared the community forum, during the database setup, got the error without exact error message

I've run a few installs myself without hitting this issue, so I'd like to see if I can gather some more information.

• Do you know you are able to complete an installation on a non-safari browser?
  (This will rule out any Browser-related issues)

• Do you know if your Database password contains any special/non-unicode characters?
  (There is a known bug around this:Special character in database password creates issues #553 )

• Could you share your specific MySQL Version?

• Do you know if there are any pertinent logs in your PHP Error Logs, or the public/legacy/SuiteCRM.log files?

• If you set re-set File/Folder permissions and try to access the site again, are you able to access the CRM?

to summarised after the database input, it will have a error message throw without a exact error.

however, when input the public/index.php looks like it goes to the login screen and tested the login, it is able to login.

maybe this is a separate issue, after login, the page styling not properly displayed on dashboard

This is not a bug, I believe, just a system configuration problem, and the discussion should be taking place in the Community Forums.
It doesn't look like the installer has the necessary conditions to proceed: file system ownerships and permissions, database permissions, etc. These things are mentioned in the installation instructions, but sometimes it's tricky to get them correctly set up in some systems.

I very much agree that the diagnostics should be better and the messages to the user should be clearer.
