I'm not really into the ffmpeg arguments, but would it be possible to store the recorded video as H265 (HEVC) to reduce the video size by half? Now with just 10 minutes of video, with the resolution of 1280x720 takes roughly around 500MB, which is a bit much for a low resolution 10 minute clip.
