Finding Video Files are Difficult

Actually quite difficult.

Not always clear what's a video file and what isn't. Some sites seem to do a lot of redirections in order to source you the video.

For an arbitrary site, finding video files are quite difficult. Even for sites of interest (such as Youtube), not immediately simple (though a little bit of digging strongly suggests that they're suffix-less files located by video ID. Not verified though.)
