tt_news 7.6.3 problem with allowed/visible categories in BE groups

Hi to all, after upgrade to typo3 7.6.23 and tt_new 7.6.3 the standard be user cannot select the news category from tree.
How i can resolve the problem?

I have same issue in TYPO3 10. It seems like it works only for top level categories now?

Thanks for quick reply. To give you more input let's assume we have news categories like that.

Category 1

• Category 1.1
• Category 1.2
• Category 1.3

So in old tt_news we had for example 'Category 1.2' (second level) assigned to be_user directly and then this category was displayed for user when editing news. In TYPO3 10 nothing is displayed for that user unless we assign also parent 'Category 1' for that user.
