I've missed this, but yes, I am the maintainer of https://github.com/farre/midas and it's very much alive and actively worked on. I guess @rocallahan if you'd feel comfortable with it, it could be one of the described use cases in the about page? (or wherever "how to use with foo" is described, I can't remember, for vscode specifically).
