When trying to plug in the microSD-card using the sd-card-extender, it sometimes misses the slot on the Pi Zero, thus requiring multiple attempts.

I also experience same issue. I had to put the SD-card with the extender in the pi before screwing the cases together. Also according to the 3D printer I use ( 3dhubs.com ) it said the walls of that model were more thin than is advised.
