The project will build in both the Arduino IDE and Visual Micro with the 2.0.0 board package. 2.0.1 and above introduce breaking changes for this project.

Tip: In Visual Micro, if you have other projects that use later esp32 toolchains? Consider adding a folder called "Arduino-Portable " below the folder where the .sln is. Then you can use board manager to install a solution specific version of the esp32 board package. Read more about special folders here
