VST3 version of plugin not showing controls / CLAP version not automating #167

I have a plugin with no gui and just a basic control knob.

When loading the VST3 in FL Studio it will only show like this:

The clap version shows like this, but the knob does not update when automating

Is this a mistake i am making? I couldnt find any special instructions in the examples or guide.
