Title says it all. Latest retroarch specifically has some latency-killer features that would be awesome to include in a fast booting system.

Past blasting :D Very unlikely tbh, this was mostly to speed up booting of the original pis, which were not the fastest. Interested in the feature though, do you have a link?

A more official link. This is about run ahead, the "preemptive frames" predecessor.

Both are great, the most modern is just more efficient.

You can eventually get less input lag than the original hardware if you want to!
