Dear pyQuil team,

We are contacting you from Forschungszentrum Jülich. Developing PyQuil 4.14.3 for our Stage 2025, we came accross with an incompatibility issue. I would like to ask if it would be possible to make a new PyQuil release compatible with the following libraries:

  1. matplotlib-inline==0.1.6
  2. Packaging==24.1

The other dependencies you have for pyQuil fit perfectly for us. Those are the only extensions we have issues with. The requirements you have in your last release for these extensions are:

  1. packaging = "^23.1"
  2. matplotlib-inline = {version = "^0.1.7", optional = true}

Could you release a new version with these compatibilities?

Any additional information you may have I will be glad to provide you so.

Kind regards.

Dear PyQuil team,

I am writing to follow up on the compatibility issue we previously raised regarding PyQuil 4.14.3 (now PyQuil 4.15.0) and the following libraries:

matplotlib-inline==0.1.6
Packaging==24.1

We want to use your software in our Stage/2025 and we have been trying to manage these incompatibilities with no positive outcome from our side.

Could you kindly let us know if there are plans to address this issue or if additional information is needed from us to facilitate a resolution?

Thank you very much in advance. We look forward to your response.

Kind regards.
