Python error on execution, formatting last modified date #1

When executing the script, either manually on the shell or via cron, the following error appears:

$ ./ics2email-venv/bin/python ics2email.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "ics2email.py", line 100, in <module>
    elif known_events[event.uid]['last_modified'] != event.last_modified.format():
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'format'
