Using sha256sum to verify with the Rhino-Linux-2024.2-amd64.iso.sha256 file from the SourceForge files page for 2024.2 produces the following error:
sha256sum: 2024.2/Rhino-Linux-2024.2-amd64.iso: No such file or directory
2024.2/Rhino-Linux-2024.2-amd64.iso: FAILED open or read
sha256sum: WARNING: 1 listed file could not be read
This is because the checksum file accidentally included the directory 2024.2/ in front of the filename. The ARM version on the same page also includes the accidental inclusion.
Simply editing the file to remove the extraneous text or verifying by copying the value from the main site's download page works fine. I imagine the latter is how most people are doing it anyway but it might confuse some users who used SourceForge for it and are just following how-to pages online.
