Additional sensors on Faikin

I want to order some Faikin.

Is it possible to include any sensors to the Faikin module to the gpio pins like Dht22, ds18b20, PIR and the values over mqtt?

I know there have to be an extended layout.
Is it easy to integrate them in the software?

You can do a reference temperature over mqtt if that helps. I have not designed in other sensors as yet - they have been done as part of https://github.com/revk/ESP32-EnvMon sending temperature and targets over MQTT.
