Amazon.de offers currently 35% price reduction coupon on Govee's H5105.
So I bought 2 and share my experience.
While the ePaper display looks very crisp and clear, the BLE update rate is really slow and the temperature readings tend to overshoot.
Here is a temperature curve of the H5105 next to a Xiaomi Me2 which I use to control my living room temperature to 20.2°C +/-0.2K
While the air temperature in the room changes by 0,5K, the H5105 temperature changes look like noise. Without the Xiami as reference it's difficult to identify the two cycles of the heat pump.
Therefore I cannot recommend using the Govee H5105 as a sensor for controlling a room temperature within tight tolerances.
