Think about which legend components we want to make
Categorical colour scale
Diverging colour scale
Continuous colour scale
Options for setting minimum/mid/max, etc
Pass in d3 scales?
Absolutely position the div: options for placing it top-left above chart or directly on top of the chart in some blank space
