Would it be possible to change the tray icons to be more obvious? Perhaps one big S or H, or a background colour when HDR is on? Anyway, awesome tool, can't believe I only just discovered it. Thanks!

Would love to see this also! The SDR and HDR letters are really hard to differentiate on high res monitors.

Hi.
Why not different colors !
SDR grey = only support sdr
SDR green = sdr mode but support HDR
SDR yellow = sdr mode and support 3D mode
3D blue = 3D mode
HDR RED = Hdr mode engaged

Thank you

Well, I prefer it as is. So, if this gets implemented, it would be nice to also have the classic tray icon.

Regarding hard visibility etc.: I got the 32" 4K monitor from Alienware and I can easily see the difference between SDR and HDR. But that may be because I made my taskbar transparent and the animated wallpaper is kind of dark in that area, so white letters have a high contrast and readability is very good.
