Enforcing Authorization for loaders and actions

I've been looking over the Remix documentation and I haven't found anything to protect a given loader function. For context, we're integrating a drizzle db with Remix, and we have assignments that only certain users can access. Is there something that gives a similar functionality to this? Here's our current implementation:

Is there a commonly used package that supports something like this? Or is there a better/cleaner way to do this within the remix framework? Please let me know if you have any ideas!
