For Issue religious-ecologies/omeka-s-theme#54, we created a new item set called "States/Territories, 1926" (which include just the state items that reflected the country in 1926), and drew from this new item set to populate the State/Territory filter on the "Browse Schedules" page.

Could we also draw from/use the same new item set to populate the list of states on the "Locations" page?

I think they're powered differently, as the "Locations" navigation is populated by the @jimsafley's MARE module.

That particular list of states/territories draws from the mare:StateTerritory resource class, not an item set. Instead of writing new code to draw from the item set, lets just remove "Alaska" and "Hawaii" from the list.

@kimisgold This is best done in your MareBrowseFilters module, in are-remember-location.js. Just hide list items where data-item-id=24628 (Alaska) and data-item-id=24651 (Hawaii).
